About

PSB Academy has been providing training for almost 60 years, starting in 1964 as a government productivity-training unit and has since grown into the private academy it is today, educating more than 17,000 students yearly hailing from more than 50 different nations. The academy conducts its courses in two campuses found in Singapore: Marina Square, which houses its STEM wing inaugurated in 2022, and The Cathay, which is the organization's newest campus, having opened its doors in 2025. Their degree programs are offered in cooperation with several international universities, such as Coventry University, Edinburgh Napier University, and University of Hertfordshire, from the UK; University of Newcastle, La Trobe University, Edith Cowan University, and University of Canberra, from Australia; and Massey University, from New Zealand, offering students a wide range of disciplines to choose from, amounting to around 18 fields of study, such as business management, engineering, life sciences, hospitality & tourism, media & communications, accounting & finance, analytics & data science, and cyber security, providing pathways from diploma and foundation courses to bachelor's, master's, and MBA levels.

Accreditation

PSB Academy is EduTrust certified for 4 years and is registered with Singapore's SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG). The degrees offered are awarded by the partner universities in the UK, Australia and New Zealand, which are government-recognised and locally-accredited in their respective countries, meaning graduates obtain a bona fide overseas university qualification and not a local one.

Facilities

City Campus at Marina Square, with classrooms, computer labs, TV/radio studios and a STEM wing with science and engineering labs; a second campus, The Cathay, opened in April 2025.

Entry requirements

PSB Academy provides country specific entry guidance (including a separate sheet for Indian students) and generally requires completion of secondary education with results appropriate to the programme to be followed. Proficiency in English may be demonstrated by IELTS or TOEFL or sometimes by a letter from the school concerned that the applicant's previous education was in English. An application usually consists of an application form, passport sized photographs, a passport bio-data page, a birth certificate, notarised transcripts and certificates, evidence of proficiency in English and a bank statement (for the purposes of obtaining a Student's Pass) showing that sufficient funds are available to support them. Processing times for Student's Pass take about four weeks from submission.
